SVLL Thanks Simi Valley High School

Every year, SVLL Challenger Division is given the red carpet by the Simi Valley High School (SVHS) Boys Baseball Team. It is an event the Challenger players look forward to every year.

Welcoming our players with pomp and circumstance as they enter the baseball diamond is the SVHS Cheerleading squad and Boys Baseball Team. Upon entry, each of our players were given a T-shirt to wear during the game which commemorates the event. In addition, grab bags full of special items and treats were also provided.

The event began with the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by the National Anthem and the Little League Pledge. There were two games consisting of two innings each, with the first pitch commencing at approximately 10:00AM. SVHS Baseball players assisted and encouraged the Challenger players at bat and while rounding the bases. They also ensured the safety of each player as many of the Challenger ballplayers hit line-drive singles into the outfield.

It was a beautiful day at the ballpark and the festivities were spectacular. The kindness and generosity of SVHS Baseball and Cheerleading squad is greatly appreciated by our players and their families. We look forward to continuing this annual tradition.
